Meet the owners of emä. They had both struggled to find a hair ties that suits both of their hair types. As athletes it became a struggle to find a hair tie that would hold in place and not damage hair and so they created emä. Uma and Esha’s goal was simple: to create a hair tie that worked for all hair types and could be relied upon, no matter the task at hand.
